This Monday the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) presented the new national team kit for Euro 2024 in Germanyinspired by Portuguese tradition with its flag colors and typical tiles.
‘Share the passion’
Under the motto ‘Share the passion’, the main t-shirt has the country’s classic colors, red and green, from the Portuguese flag, and on it is the word Portugal.
The second kit is inspired by the country’s traditional architectural art, FTP said in a statement, “keeping home close to the hearts of players and fans when playing away.”
The design reflects the typical Portuguese blue tile and “provides a subtle tone to the usual white of Portugal’s second shirt,” FPF said.
The Federation added that the new kits “reinterpret Portuguese tradition and imagery, with a modern perspective, to strengthen the passion of all” Portuguese fans.
For this launch, the FPF also published a promotional video with some youngsters wearing the new shirts playing table football, with the players also wearing the new kit.
