“We do not know that this man has visited or is in the country,” a senior official from the National Police told EFE Agency, also requesting anonymity.
The Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard searched the headquarters of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) this Wednesday in search of possible irregular contracts from the last five years, coinciding with the time of Luis Rubiales at the head of the entity .
The search joins ten others, including in the Granada home of the former president of the RFEF, investigated for an alleged crime of corruption, among others, and outside Spain, specifically in Dominican Republic, as indicated to EFE in several sources close to the case.
