Only a few days left before the start of the World Cross Country Championships Belgrade 2024which will take place on March 30 in the Serbian capital with the presence of important international athletes such as Sifan Hassan, Jacob Kiplimo and Beatrice Chebet.
The organization has already announced the route map where the five races that are part of the program will be held. It is a 1,887m circuit with two additional straights of 270m and 320m where the start and finish are located, respectively.
The terrain is mostly grass, with some pedestrian paths covered in dirt and sand.
Belgrade 2024 World Cross Country Programme
Included in the program for the Belgrade 2024 World Cross Country Championships 5 races to be played in one day at Saturday, March 30th.
Racing competitions begin women’s sub20which will be held at a distance of 6 km, and then the turn of men’s sub20 at a distance of 8 km.
Next, the mixed relaywhere teams consisting of two women and two men will compete, and where each athlete must complete one lap of the circuit in the order male-female-male-female.
Finally the races will be held feminine and masculine perfectboth at a distance of 10 km.
In the sub-20 and absolute races, teams can have up to six athletes, with the best four scoring. The team with the lowest aggregate score wins.

- 11:35 am – Men’s U20 – Final
- 12:15 h – Mixed relay – Final
- 12:45 h – Women’s Absolute – Final
- 1:30 pm – Men’s Absolute – Final
