Atalanta tripped over his head at Liverpool

Atalanta squandered a two-goal lead on Monday and ended up drawing against a Hellas Verona (2-2) fighting to avoid relegation and extending the Bergamo side’s bad spell in Serie A.

‘Dea’ started thinking very early about the second leg of the Europa League quarterfinals against Liverpool and it caught up with him. The historic win at Anfield (0-3) seemed to continue at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo with a tremendous start from the Gian Piero Gasperini which however ended up collapsing in the second half.

2-0 in the 18th minute and Verona’s reaction

Because many of one person is of little use Gianluca Scamacca released and brazilian Ederson, who made it 2-0 in just 18 minutes of absolute excellence. The dominance turned into overconfidence and Verona took advantage of it to draw and leave the ‘Dea’ on two consecutive days without a win.

All thanks for the return signed in the blink of an eye, in just four minutes, thanks a lot the Serbian Darko Lazovic and the Dutch Tijjani Noslin, who laid the tables.

Atalanta wanted to react, as they had a chance to take the three points, but a lack of goals and nervousness prevented them from sealing a win that looked close in the first 20 minutes.

The slip leaves ‘Dea’ in sixth place, four points behind Rom, both with a game less to play, while Hellas Verona take a one-point advantage over the relegation zone.
