La Roca Golf Club hosted, on April 13 and 14, the VI ESI Golf Solidari Tournament, with a great participation of players, including former FC Barcelona player Paco Martínez.
The solidarity tournament It was played to benefit the ESI Foundationled by Josep Maldonado, who this time was unable to attend because he was in Italy, in the town of Sabaudia, where he was awarded.
The vice president of the ESI Foundation, Jordi Monturiol, is in charge of providing the details of ESI solidarity projects in Africa, Catalonia and the rest of Spain. Monturiol also thanked the sponsors for their participation and efforts to make the tournament a success.
In terms of sports, Lorena Alvarez won the scratch category; in the women’s handicap, Christine Seel and Anna Moreu; lower handicap men, Gary More and Joaquim Vega; superior men, Ian Sagalés and Daniel Mira; and superseniors, Lluís Llavina and Francisco Álvarez.
There are two approach prizes on the par 3: the prize for hole 3, a box of Miquel Pons Cava, is for Maite Gratacós; and one on the 18th hole, batch of DAMM productsfor Eduardo Girón.
