The cyclist Tom Pidcock (Leeds, 24 years old), from the Ineos Grenadiers, was decorated at Buckingham Palace by Princess Anne as Member of the Order of the British Empire for his achievements in various international competitions.
Pidcock has two Elite world champion titles in his history in two different cycling disciplines, cyclocross (2022) and mountain bike (2023).
He is also an Olympic mountain bike champion, at Tokyo 2021, and on the road Pidcock has won a stage of the Tour de France, the legendary Alpe d’Huez in 2022), the Strade Bianche (2023) and the Amstel Gold Race ( 2024).
His record includes 5 victories, all of them of great prestige. Pidcock is present at the Tour de France and is aiming for gold at the Paris Olympic Games.
