It is the great scare in the morning in training in Girona. “That’s Couto and Juanpe They had a headbutt between them and now they are in the hospital. It looks bad,” began Míchel’s press conference before traveling to Las Palmas.
Couto come in to finish an action in which he collided with Juanpe’s head, leaving both of them on the ground after a violent collision between the players’ heads that forced the ambulances to leave. The club has already made public the official statement in which it confirms the loss of Juanpe, as Míchel thought he took the worst part of the situation, and they both show great marks on their faces.
“Juanpe and Yan Couto experienced a collision in a game action during today’s training and became transferred to hospital, from where they have already been discharged,” the statement began. And he specified… “Juanpe a is suffering broken nose and it has been low for about two weeks. That’s Coutowith a hard blow and cut on the eyebrow, will come into the call tomorrow depending on its evolution”.
The Canarian central defender, after moments of suffering, came to the medical services with the displaced nose because of the strong punch, while the Brazilian has a long one gap which starts above the nose and goes around the eyebrow at the height, roughly, of the middle of the forehead. Fortunately for those involved, everything can be resolved quickly and without a hitch no health risk in none of them.
