This Sunday, April 28, the streets of Madrid will once again shake in the 46th edition of the Zurich Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Madrid.
Almost 40,000 participants will run in one of the three distances offered by the event: marathon (42K), half marathon (21K) and 10K.
A good atmosphere is guaranteed thanks to 30 animation points which will be distributed along the route and will allow all runners to experience the race in a special way.

The main favorite for victory in the marathon is the Kenyan Reuben Kiprop Kipyegothird at Rotterdam 2023, with a time of 2h03:55, more than two minutes behind the Ethiopian Haymanot Alew.
In the women’s category the main favorites are three Ethiopians Bontu Bekela Gada (2h23:39), Ayantu Gemechu Abdi (2h24:45) and Kebene Chala (2h26:39).

Route
The Zurich Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Madrid has three beautiful and tourist routes that cross the heart of the capital.
The outlet of all distances is located at Gregorio Marañón Squareon Paseo de la Castellana, and the finish line is at Walk of Recoletos.
The route of the queen test, the marathon, goes through the major monuments and tourist spots of the capital such as the 4 Torres complex, the Plaza del Callao, the Puerta del Sol, the Plaza de la Villa, the Almudena Cathedral and the Prado Museum, in addition to a tour of part of the Casa de Campo, Madrid’s largest public park.
Runner’s Fair
The Corridor Fair is open on days April 26 and 27 from 10 am to 8 pm pavilion 14 of IFEMA MADRID.
There all participants will get their kit and back. To do this, they will need to show proof of registration and a valid identity document.

How to get?
On race day, the best option to get to the starting area is to use the subway.
Gregorio Marañón station (lines 7 and 10) and the Rubén Darío station (line 5) is the closest to the starting point.
People traveling by car should note that the entire finish area is closed until the end of the race.

The Zurich Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series in Madrid will be held in Sunday April 28 in the morning.
The 10K test will start first and, an hour later, the half marathon and marathon will do so.

Participants who do not complete the race within the time limit may move up to a car sweeper that will take them to the finish line.
