Granada on Monday officially made the move to Valladolid in the center Ramon Rodriguez ‘Monchu’ After being promoted to LaLiga Santander, a team from Pucelano where the footballer has been on loan since last winter market.
“The midfielder Monchu Rodríguez, who remained in debt with Real Valladolid in the second half of the 21-22 season, he will definitely leave for the Valladolid club after fulfilling the conditions for the transfer agreement between the two entities, ”Granada said in a statement on Monday.
The transfer agreement has a mandatory purchase option for the Pucelano team in case they are promoted to LaLiga Santander, which led to the definitive transfer of the player, who signed a new contract in Valladolid until June 2026.
Monchu, 22, arrived in Granada last summer from Barcelona, although in the previous campaign he had a stadium loaned to Girona, a LaLiga SmartBank team.
In the first half of the season just ended, he played fourteen LaLiga Santander games with Granada and two more in the Copa del Rey.
Monchu’s is the first departure to Granada by a footballer with a valid contract after the team’s relegation to LaLiga SmartBank.
The the rojiblanco club thanked Monchu “for his work during his stay in Granada ”and wished him“ good luck with his professional future ”.
