In addition to the Artzain Eskola in Arantzazu, Euskal Herria now has a Behizain Eskola in Aretxabaleta. Based on the experience of the Escuela de Pastores in educating and training people in the sheep sector, the new center aims to revitalize the dairy cattle sub-sector. To do this, it will adapt the education model to the specific needs of cattle.

In the Areantza Etxebarri farm from Aretxabaleta, the training actions of Behizain Eskola will be carried out. brothers Julen and Agustin Abasolo, with years of experience as professionals in the sector, will be responsible for managing the course. These have 260 head of cattle, 80 hectares of land, mechanized pastures to obtain silos and pastures exclusively for grazing.

The people who have access to this course will live, coexist and work in that environment with the aim of making learning inclusive.

This morning, the Behizain Eskola was presented at a ceremony attended by the Minister of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government, Arantxa Tapia.

This is a training initiative promoted by the Basque government through HAZI and the Gomiztegi cooperative.
