The American Scottie Scheffler continues another week as world golf number one ahead of Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy and his countrymen Wyndham Clarkwhile the Spanish Jon Rahmcompeting starting this season on the LIV circuit, dropped to fifth place.
Scheffler heads the table 14.86 points on average and a solid lead over McIlroy (7.21)winner this Sunday with Irishman Shane Lowry of Zurich Classicand clark (6.42), while Xander Schauffele (6.05) overtakes Rahm (6.01), third in the Adelaide tournament of the Saudi series.
The young Swedish prodigy Ludwig Abergthe Norwegian Victor Hovland and American Patrick Cantlay remains below and Brian Harman surpassing Max Homa which is in ninth place.
