The Castilian-La Mancha town of Cózar, in the province of Ciudad Real, will host the final test of the motocross World Championship calendar on the last weekend of September, as confirmed this Thursday by the International Motorcycle Federation (FIM).
The MXGP of Castilla-La Mancha will be the third to be held on Spanish soil after the MXGP of Spain, the second race of the year, took place in the Madrid town of Arroyomolinos in March; and that the MXGP of Galicia will be held in Lugo in May.
The final test of the discipline where the current world champion and also leader of the 2024 championship is the Galician Jorge Prado It will come after the MXGP of China, scheduled for Shanghai in mid-September, and before the Motocross of Nations takes place on October 6 in Matterley Basin (United Kingdom).
