The schedules of Spain’s World Cup matches are already known

In late Friday, FIFA finally announced the match schedules for the first round of the 2022 Qatar World Cup. In group E, Spain, world champions in 2010, will make their tournament debut on Wednesday, November 23 against the winner of the playoffs between New Zealand and Costa Rica starting at 5:00 pm at Al Thumama stadium (Doha). Previously, 2:00 pm, Germany and Japan would do it.

The highlight of the group and of the entire first stage, Spain-Germany, will take place on Sunday, November 27 at 8:00 pm at the Al Bayt stadium (located in Al Khor). The winner of the CONCACAF-Oceania playoff and Japan, meanwhile, will meet earlier, at 11 am Spanish time.

Finally, the Red will close out the first round on Dec. 1 at Khalifa International Stadium (Doha) against Japan at 8:00 pm, in conjunction with Germany facing the winner of the playoffs between Costa Rica and New Zealand.

This group E brings together two world champions, Spain and a Germany that, without Italy in the World Cup, is the only one with a chance to catch up with Brazil, which holds the record, with 5 world titles. . Both Germany and Italy have won 4 apiece so far.
