Date:

The Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE)pink maglia Italy is spinning and opponent in the last kilometers with a start that was on the verge of giving him the victory, he pointed out that he did not attack, but followed the wheel of the Danish Honoré, who opened a gap 3 from the finish line.

“I didn’t attack, I followed the wheel. It was a good situation: Mikkel Honoré, Geraint Thomas and I tried to continue but I don’t believe we will reach the goal. Thomas also tried to shoot at the end, which really surprised me. I tried, but after 400 meters I saw that there was still a long way to go, it was too much,” explained the leader of the finish line.

Pogacar admitted that the latter slope favored him, and he treated it as a typical “pique” between friends when they go out to train.

“I had good legs and this type of terrain was good. It was a game like the one you play with your friends when they attack each other on the flat and small climbs. This suits me well, I like it,” he said.

Pogacar referred to a stage where a result was predicted between the sprinters, a prediction that almost didn’t come true.

“The stage has three sections: the first two hours are really easy and nothing happens, then one hour is full speed in every corner, even downhill. “There was a little chaos, and then it was a little stressful, not so much many. . crazy, but you can feel the tension. Then, in the end, it was all about stretching our legs,” he concluded.
