Only half a year later Thibaut Courtois the group will put their dream on paper TC Racing, owned by LaLiga footballers will officially debut in the competition this weekend on the occasion of the first test of Spanish Formula 4 Championship which will take place in Madrid Jarama circuit. After weeks of intense work on the design and creation of the technical and sporting structure, the Spanish team will complete the first day of official racing history this Saturday by competing in the first free practice sessions of an official competition, followed by of the qualifying session and the first race.
The weekend of competition will close on Sunday with another qualifying session and the last two races of the Madrid round.
TC Racing will face its debut in motorsport competition on the track (they have already debuted in the last Dakar in light vehicles) with two young promises of motorsports, the Brazilian Gabriel Gómez and the Mexican Cristian Cantúboth under the sports direction of main team member, Roberto Merhi.
Gabriel and Cristian took an important step in their sports career being Gabriel’s F4 debut and Cristian’s European premiere. Although both have experience in this modality since Gabriel competed in the Barcelona round of the 2023 Spanish F4 and Cristian was runner-up in F4 NACAM.
The first round of the competition will be held on the traditional Jarama circuit, a track inaugurated in 1967 and highly respected by legendary drivers who have written pages in the history of motorsports such as Gilles Villeneuve, Graham Hill, Jackie Stewart and Niki Lauda , among others, during the eleven editions that the Madrid track hosted the Formula 1 world championship Grand Prix.
