Question: Your first race this year, you haven’t participated in the previous 4 rallies, how are you feeling?
Answer: We will try to do our best and give one hundred percent.
Obviously I haven’t run in a while and I’m a little off the pace, but we’re going to give it our all and do what we know.

A: Yes, quite positive because the front ones clean the road a little bit and, later, the back ones are a little cleaner.

A: Everyone will go very fast and they will attack a lot, this is a rally that everyone knows very well. Ogier, Rovanpera, everything will be stronger.
Q: What will be your strategy and aspirations in this competition?
A: It is very important to start fast, at full strength from the beginning. I will give it my best. Trying to give back to the fans all the love they always give me.
Q: You have seven wins in the Rally of Portugal and you were second last year.
A: Yes, I have been on the podium seven times and we will try to repeat it. If we look at the results I got here, it’s clear that I have options. What we are really looking for is that, to be in the box and fight for victory. I go out for victory, it’s always like that.
Q: What are your favorite stages of this rally?
A: The Amarante section (Northern Portugal). It’s a long and beautiful stretch and that’s where you can make a difference, I believe.

A: For now, I will do Portugal and Sardinia and then we will have to see what happens with the others.
