The WTA announced this Thursday the calendar for the 2025 season, with some new features currently. The main changes will come at the beginning of summer, during the grass season.
WTA 500 in Eastbourne, UK to move location to The Queen’s ClubLondon and will take place the week of June 9, the first week after Roland Garros.
The Nottingham WTA 250 event, also in the UK, moves a week later until the second week of the grass season, the week of June 16.
A WTA 250 will take place in Eastbourne on the week of June 23, Week 3 of the grass season, accompanied by an ATP 250. The WTA 500 in Bad Homburg, Germany, remains in its third week of the grass season, including Eastbourne.
Besides, National Bank Open presented by Rogers (Montreal) and Cincinnati Open WTA 1000 events to be expanded to be 12-day tournaments and held over three weeks in the summer.
