Schauffele maintains PGA lead; Rahm and Woods missed the cut

The American Xander Schauffele remains the leader of the PGA Championshipwith a cumulative -12 after a day on Friday marked by the arrest of the world number one, Scottie Schefflerwho after getting out of jail had a great second round and was three strokes from the lead.

“I spent a little stretching in a jail cell, it was my first time. It was part of my warm-up. I was sitting there waiting and I started doing my warm-up because I felt like there was a chance I could still Come here and play, so I can start following my routine”, he explained.

Rahm and Woods missed the cut

On a bad golf day, Spaniard Jon Rahm missed the cut after carding a 72 stroke (+1) with a card of three birdies for two bogeys and a double bogey. Combined with the 70 (-1) of the first round, they resulted in a combined 142 hits (even).
