To be successful in the negotiations, Vasco is counting on the desire of Coutinho, who wants to return to Brazilian football more than he wanted before, a desire shared by his wife. In this way, the club, with a preference for the player, understands that the main task now is to come to an agreement with Aston Villa.
Coutinho is on loan at Al-Duhail until the middle of this year, but he is in contact with the English club until June 2026. Vasco’s intention is to propose a new loan for the footballer at Aston Villa, but there is an obligation to buy at the end of the contract.
