Winning the Premier League four times in a row deserves a grand celebration and Manchester City, whether or not they win the FA Cup final against Manchester United next Saturday, will be celebrating on the streets of the city in a street which will take place on Sunday.
No team had won four Premier League titles at once until City certified a new title on Sunday with their victory over West Ham (3-1) on the final day.
Another party
After the game, there was a party at the Etihad with the delivery to the team of Pep Guardiola of the trophy, but whether the double falls or not, all ‘mamamad’ fans will have the opportunity to celebrate the victory with their idols.
The parade will start at 7:30 pm in the United Kingdom (8:30 pm in Spain) from The National Football Museum and last an hour and a half, ending at Deansgate.
The rally will take place in the afternoon to repair the streets after previously holding an athletic race.
