The Belgian cyclist Lennert Van Eetvelt (Lotto Dstny) is damaged by a moderate nature by being hit by a car while training in Tenerife.
Van Eetvelt himself published photos and a video on social networks showing the injuries sustained after the accident, which happened, according to his account, when the car driver tried to overtake him on a descent.
The 112 Canarias emergency coordination center reported that yesterday, Thursday, a 22-year-old cyclist was injured on the TF-38 highway, in the municipality of Guía de Isora.

Personnel from the Canario Emergency Service treated him at that point before referring him by ambulance to the Hospiten Sur hospital center.
Last April, another professional cyclist, the German Lennard Kamna, from Bora-Hansgrohe, was the victim of an accident on the roads of Tenerife.
In his case, on the way to La Caldera park, in La Orotava, where he collided with a car and suffered serious multiple trauma.
