Antonio Conte has been rumored for Napoli and now the club has made it official: coach Saletino is now officially the Napoli’s new coach has a contract until 2027.
The southerners decided to trust Antonio Conte, who returned to Serie A after his experience at Tottenham in place of Calzona.
The Italian has signed a three-year contract which is imminent nine million euros net per season including variables, thereby becoming the highest paid coach in the club’s history.
“SSC Napoli welcomes Antonio Conte, who assumes the position of first team coach after signing a contract that will bind him to the Club until June 30, 2027,” the club said in its official statement.
“I am proud that the new coach of Napoli is Antonio Conte. Antonio is a top-level coach, a leader, for whom I am sure that the necessary refoundation can begin when the cycle that led us to win the ‘scudetto’ last year has ended. After many seasons at the top of Italian football, today a new and important chapter will open in the history of Napoli said the president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
“Napoli is a place of global importance. I was happy and excited about the idea of sitting on the blue bench. I can definitely promise one thing: I will do everything possible for the growth of the team and the club. My commitment, with my staff, will be total,” Antonio Conte said.
