He Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday announced the departure of four of its players from the squad who ended their contracts with the club. “We can confirm the departure of Eric Dier, Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon and Japhet Tanganga after the end of their contracts,” Tottenham began in its official statement.
In the case of Eric and Ivan, are loan players, from Bayern and Hahduk respectively. “We said goodbye to Eric and Ivan in January as they went to their new clubs, initially on loan,” the statement read.
“Defender Eric signed for Bayern Munich, after playing 365 games and scoring 13 goals in nine and a half years with us, while the left winger Ivan joined HNK Hajduk Splitwho appeared 50 times in our colors and scored one goal, after his arrival in 2022. Both contracts with us have ended,” Spurs continued.
They also said goodbye Ryan Sessegnon and Japhet Tnaganga.
“Left-back Ryan joined us from Fulham in 2019 and played 57 games for us and scored three goals. He is also on loan in Germany with Hoffenheim in 2020/21,” they reported.
“The central defender Japhet is a product of our Academy system and enjoyed an outstanding first-team campaign with us in 2019/20, memorably making his Premier League debut from the start against Liverpool in January of that season. Japhet made 50 competitive appearances in our colors before embarking on a loan spell with FC Augsburg in Germany and later Millwall during the recent campaign.
“We thank Eric, Ivan, Ryan and Japhet for their service to the Club and we wish them all for the future,” Tottenham concluded in their statement.
