In sales data announced this Monday by the MLS, the Colombian Juan Camilo ‘Cucho’ Hernández, of the Columbus Crew, and of the Spanish Riqui Puig, of the Los Angeles Galaxy, respectively placed fourth and fifth.
Inter Miami, who revolutionized the American league a year ago with the additions of Messi and the Spanish Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, whom Suárez joined in January, dominated the first 25 positions with five players.
Local talent has been added to the pink club’s big four Benjamin Cremaschi.
Alba is in position 18 and Busquets, 28according to sales figures on the MLSstore.com platform
The Seattle Sounders are the second most represented franchise with four jerseys in the first 25 positions (Pedro de la Vega, Jordan Morris, Joao Paulo and Cristian Roldán).
The rankings are based on local sales of Adidas MLS jerseys at MLSstore.com from January 1 through April 30, 2024.
