British Jack Draper (no. 40 ATP), fourth seed, and American Brandon Nakashima will be the first to settle for first this Saturday semi-final of the Stuttgart tennis tournamentin the grass
Draper wondered the American Frances Tifoe (n.28), sixth favorite, incl including return, 5-7, 6-4 and 7-6 (1)in a tough and tight match that allowed the British to recover from the defeat suffered against the North American in Paris 2022, in the only precedent that existed between the two.
Nakashima (n.70), on the other hand, did not have to jump into court, as his rival, the German Jan-Lennard Stuff (n.35), dropped.
For Draper it was all about him third semi-final of the year, after Acapulco and Adelaida, where he reached the final and lost. Nakashima, for his part, has played in the semi-finals in Surbiton (United Kingdom), Pau (France), Koblenz (Germany), Ottignies-Louvain (Belgium), Tenerife and Canberra.
