Steve Clarke, coach of Scotland, regrets the bad image his team showed in the defeat against Germany in the opening match of the European Championship. “It’s a hard night, we have disappointed ourselves. We are better than what we show tonight and I hope we can show it in the next two games,” explained the coach.
“Germany was exceptional and, unfortunately, we couldn’t match them. The first half got away from us very quickly; we couldn’t get a foothold in the game,” analyzed the coach after the defeat.
“We can still achieve the goal, that’s what we should focus on. We have to see how the players react. The goal is still four points away from the next two games,” Clarke added.
