Pello Bilbao finished second in the Tour of Slovenia, just 10″ behind the winner

the Irish Ben Healyfrom the EF Education-Easy Post team, won the final stage of Return to Sloveniaa difficult 156.9 kilometer route between Sentjernej and Novo Mesto, where the leader, the Italian Giovanni Alleottimaintained his advantage without too much difficulty and declared the winner of the round.

Healy began his record of victories this season with a precise attack with just over three kilometers to go from the finish line. The Irishman intelligently dosed his energy and arrived in Novo Mesto with six seconds ahead of a group of 21 pursuers.

Russian Alexander Kristoff finished second, ahead of Venezuelan Orluis Aular, from Caja Rural-Seguros RGA. Giovanni Alleotti was eleventh, one place behind his biggest rival for the final victory, the Spaniard Pello Bilbao (Bahrain Victorius), who was separated by ten seconds from the green jersey.

Another Spaniard, Pablo Castrillo, from Kern Pharma, was fifth in the general classification, 43 seconds behind the winner.
