28,000 unique flags for the conquest of Paris to celebrate Spain’s victories

Four months after the presentation of the project sponsored by Banco Santander and the Spanish Olympic Committeehe COE is decorated with unique flags which it is expected to conquer Paris and “celebrate” the successes of the Spanish team and that they are part of the campaign ‘Your hard work parade at the Games’.

The event, attended by award-winning canoeists representing Spanish athletes who will travel to the French capital, Alejandro Blanco, president of COE, and Felipe Martín, director of Media, Online Marketing, Sponsorships and Events of Santander Spain, presented different formats of flags produced after a high-quality technological process. This process used around 5,000 kilos of sportswear collected in more than 75 points established throughout Spain.

The Banco Santander Work Cafés in the main provincial capitals, as well as the headquarters of the COE and the Higher Sports Council in Madrid, among others, built a network that, without the participation of citizens, would not have been possible.

Alejandro Blanco highlighted the project that brings together the COE as one of the “most advanced” Olympic committees in the world on sustainability issues and he described as “innovative.” “All the athletes who go to the Games arrive based on work and effort.
