The International Athletics Federation (World Athletics) has shared exclusive preview images of the ‘Sprint‘, the documentary series about the world’s best sprinters produced by Netflixwhose main protagonist is the North American athlete Noah Lyles.
“Being a part of ‘Sprint’ has been an incredible experience,” Lyles said at the series’ launch event. “Everyone needs to see our situation. Surely, the 1% who are at the top, we are rock stars (…) But we are lagging behind in other sports,” said the world champion of 100m, 200m and 4x100m.
Earlier this month, the series trailer aired on giant screens in New York’s Times Square before an exclusive preview screening at the Nasdaq building, where some of the documentary’s stars and other major sports figures watched episodes 1 and 5 of the series.
The complete series is coming to Netflix and screens worldwide July 2nda few weeks before the start of the Olympic Games in Paris.
