Independent beat this Friday 1-0 at Workshops in Cordoba and extended its good start to the Argentine Professional Football League Tournament, in one of five matches that continued into the second day of competition.

With a goal from Lucas Romero, ‘Rojo’ defeated the Cordovan team at home and became one of four teams leading the standings with four units as a result of a win and a draw.

Estudiantes de La Plata and Gimnasia de La Plata also earned this spot privilege after their respective victories this Friday against Aldosivi (0-1 away) and Patronato (2-0 at home).

‘Pincha’ defeated Aldosivi thanks to Paraguayan conquest Mario López, against his fence, while ‘Tripero’ defeated Patronato after goals by Colombian Johan Carbonero and Cristian Tarragona.
