Also, American Ben Shelton, number one seed in the Mallorcan tournament, will play against British Paul Jubb, after defeating Australian Rinky Hijikata (6-4, 6-0) in one hour and eight minutes.

Shelton (ranked fourteenth in the ATP) is one of the main favorites to win his third title in Mallorca before facing his participation in the Wimbledon tournament starting July 1.

The match between the American Alex Michelsen and the Austrian Sebastián Ofner will complete the quarterfinal draw on the Santa Ponça courts.
