The mother of two daughters was attacked by cows on Wednesday afternoon while walking in the Gasteinertal. The rescuers who were immediately notified were no longer able to help the local population. She died on the spot.
A walk ended tragically for a local family in the Gastein Valley. A woman (40) and her daughters (20, 23) were walking with two small dogs in the Schloßalm area.
Suddenly the cows attacked the women
For unknown reasons, a herd of cows attacked the women. The daughters were injured, but were just able to escape to safety. They immediately called 911, but were unable to help their mother. Because the herd of cows no longer moved away from their mother.
Only the helicopter drove away the herd
