The German team, the host of this Euro Cup, experienced a truly surreal situation the day before the match against Denmark in the round of 16.
The match is being held at Signal Iduna Park and Julian Nagelsmann’s team was preparing to train at 11:00 am in Herzogenaurach, their base in this Euro Cup, but they were unable to do so because of mosquitoes. Or rather, because of the insecticidal product used so that footballers can exercise normally.
Apparently, the smell was so strong and unpleasant that Germany was unable to practice for a few seconds, canceling the session and postponing it to another time. A training session that will have to be key for the match against Denmark, as this is when Nagelsmann will decide which team he will take to the field, where Rüdiger has already recovered.
