I have seen a few games and they are doing very well. We will try to recover well to fight and find a place in the final. Spain are not favorites at the start but they are in the semifinals and should let’s congratulate them,” said the French coach ahead of the match in Munich next Tuesday.
“It was a very tense and close match, it could go either way. It all comes down to the details and I am very happy because the group did their best. You have to be happy to be in the top four. It becomes It’s a habit but we don’t need to make it normal,” said the French coach, who admitted that Kylian Mbappé is not at 100%.
“He’s tired, obviously. Muscularly not easy with everything that happened. I saw that he struggled in the first part of extra time and Kylian is always loyal to me and the group and it is normal to change him and bring in fresh people,” explained Didier Deschamps about the change of his great star.
