Real Madrid Femenino announced on Monday the inclusion of Brazilian defender Antonia Silva, who arrived on a free transfer after terminating her contract with Levante. Alberto Toril’s team continues their cascade of official announcements and now it’s the turn of the 30-year-old Brazilian international, a versatile defender who can play as a winger and as a center back.
Silva is the eighth signing made official by the white club in recent days and joins the additions of Leupolz, Eva Navarro, Alba Redondo, Maëlle Lakrar and Angeldahl expected in the coming days.
The Madrid women’s team is still in the process of remodeling after a new blank season and players who have been important in recent years, such as Svava, Ivana Andrés, Kenti Robles and Sousa, have said goodbye.
“I don’t want to be another one, I want to leave my mark here, leave everything on the field and hopefully conquer many things in Madrid and leave my name here forever,” Silva told the club’s media.
