Kevin Punter is on vacation but that doesn’t mean he’s forgetting about basketball. The new Barça player wants to arrive at the Palau Blaugrana in good condition and is taking part in several matches in the Drew League, a competition that has been held in Los Angeles every summer since 1973 and where beginners and professionals compete together participating. NBA players and former players, university players, prominent high school players or Americans playing in Europe are common among the various teams.
The Barça guard participated a few days ago in a match with the Undisputed Legends team, which he helped achieve a victory after entering the match with a 1-4 record. Punter scored 29 points, with an excellent 10/14 shooting from the field. His team defeated the Jedi 103-78.
The Jedi are coached by ex-NBA player Corey Maggette, who chooses to double up on defense with Punter in ‘pick and roll’ scenarios but the Barça player almost always comes out on top.
