The inclusion of Rakitic has been an earthquake for the Split entity and the fans have welcomed him in style. Thousands of fans gathered at the Croatian club’s headquarters to greet him with chants and dozens of flares.
The former Barcelona player sent his new fans into a frenzy when he stepped out onto the terrace with a Hajduk Split scarf. Fans began singing welcome songs in an improvised event that exceeded expectations.
