“I’m tired In sports, the position is nothing specialbut I was left with an experience, which I will never forget. Ayuso spoke about his last tough week since he retired from the Tour due to Covid. “When I abandoned the Tour I thought that in three or four days I would be back to normal, like the other times I had Covid, but this time, for reasons I don’t know, that no one understands this disease, I haven’t been on a bike in three weeks.” he explained.
“When I recovered, I had to find the right moment for the time trial, but I couldn’t get there like I wanted. I’m proud to have represented Spain and given everything,” he highlighted.
