The gold medal is not the only prize to be won Novak Djokovic after his win this Sunday against Carlos Alcaraz.
The Government of Serbia this Monday awarded 200,000 euros to the former world number 1 after his victory in the Olympic grand final.
Also his coach, Viktor Troicki, will get the same amountequivalent to the Serbian dinar, to Novak Djokovic, equivalent to the gold winner in Paris.
Djokovic, 37, currently number two in the ATP, on Sunday achieved the only victory missing from his record 24 Grand Slam titles.
The Government of Serbia has raised the amount for gold medal winners at the Paris Olympics, at 200,000 euros per medal.
Last week, Zorana Arunovic and Damir Mikec received the award, as well as their coachesfor winning the gold medal in Olympic shooting in the mixed 10 meter pistol competition.
Serbian athletes who win silver will be awarded 100,000 euros per medal, and for the bronze they will get 60,000 euros.
According to Serbian media, this country is among those that allocate the most money to their winning athletes in Paris.
