Formula 1 announced this Wednesday the Australian Grand Prixtaking place in Melbourne, It will remain on the calendar until 2035.
The new ten -year deal, starting in 2025, will also see Formula 2 and Formula 3 join the race weekend calendar for the first time since 2023.
At the Australian Grand Prix it has been on the Formula 1 calendar since the first race, in 1996.
“In the last two years, the promoter has made large investments to improve the circuit and will continue and further improve the overall fan experience and facilities, including the paddock and pitlane, in the coming years. “
“It will enhance the fan experience, but will also modernize the facilities for the teams which will be crucial to the smooth running of the event for the next decade.”
