It should be remembered that the agreement will keep 86% of Dorna Sport, the Spanish company managed by Carmelo Ezpeleta holder of MotoGP rights, which in the agreement is worth 4.2 billion euros.

In the past few hours, Liberty issued a statement explaining the launch of a public offer of 10,650,000 newly issued Formula 1 shares (Series C Liberty Formula One) and will then pay in full in cash.

When the purchase became official, it was also said that Dorna’s leadership would not undergo any changes so Ezpeleta would continue to be the boss. Furthermore, the official headquarters will continue to be in Spain.
