After a six-month ‘rest’ in the Americas of Mexico, Kheira Hamraoui starting a new adventure in Saudi football. The former PSG and FC Barcelona midfielder signed with Al-Shabab with one goal: “To maintain mental health, inner peace, balance and emotions.” It should be noted that the former French international was involved in a dark phase during his time with the Paris team which kept him away from football for a long time.
Hamraoui, 34, wrote on Instagram: “We all have room to choose. I gave myself a six-month break and that was the most important thing for me. I felt the need to return to the important things in life often we forget: our mental health, our inner peace, our balance, our emotions I’m ready for a new adventure.
Since then, Kheira Hamraoui has said that he has no intention of playing in France again. “Now, in accordance with myself and all this healing that I have given myself, I sincerely thank the people who helped me to be at peace, to accept every experience that comes to me and to reconnect my feelings, ” Hamraoui continued his message after his signing for Al-Shabab. “I realize there is still a long way to go, but a big step has been taken and I feel ready for a new adventure.”
