Frenchman Frederic Lacroix won his first title on the DP World Tour of golf this Sunday by winning the Danish Golf Championship by four strokes, played since Thursday at the Lübker Golf Resort in Aarhus (Denmark).
Lacroix, 29, carded 65 strokes (6 under par) on the fourth and final day for a total of 270 (-14) and finished with a four-over lead over compatriot Romain Langasque and Dane Lucas Bjerregaard, who finished in a tie for second place at 10 under par.
The Frenchman graduated last year on the DP World Tour from the European Challenge Tour, and with this victory he placed himself in the top five of the campaign.
Neither of the two Spaniards who made the cut in Aarhus finished under par. The best is, with +1, Manuel Quirós. Gran Canarian Rafa Cabrera did it with +2.
