Date:

Anastasiya Dmytriv is happy after becoming the first Spanish athlete to become a champion at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games this Friday.

“I am very happy and very proud of the work done. I felt emotion and I wanted to do my best. I was nervous,” she admitted minutes after hanging her medal around her neck.

He did so after also sharing a few minutes with his entourage and Queen Letizia, who witnessed the final from the stands. “They told me that they were proud and happy with what I had achieved. The queen told me to try to do my best in the next tests,” the girl, only sixteen years old, explained about the conversation that’s it.

Dmytriv did not give any sensation of nerves during the final, although he said that he had some. “Before I left, I cried because when I’m nervous, I cry first,” she revealed. It entered my mind that I want to do my best and I greeted my family,” he added.

Happy with his brand, he was also asked about the 94,000 euros that his gold represented. “I’ll save and when I’m old, I’ll fix it. I don’t think about whims anymore. Maybe I’ll go to a restaurant with my parents. I won’t do anything special,” he answered.

Finally, Dmytriv tells how he manages his career. “The mentality is what made me out strong, I was thinking positively. I was focused on my career but I made a few glances at my rivals,” he concluded.
