Five big names without a team and still on the move

Date:

The summer transfer market is over in the major leagues, although there are still a few that have their window open for a few days. The last few hours have left, as usual, a flurry of moves, but it also means that some big names are left without a team at the moment. Here are some of them:

1

Keylor Navas

Goalkeeper, 37 years old

The award-winning former goalkeeper of PSG and Real Madrid, among other teams, did not find a place. Before announcing his departure from the French club last spring, he was on loan at Nottigham Forest. He hasn’t retired yet, so he’s a desirable player despite his age.

Sergio Ramos, in the 93rd minute where he scored the goal in the Champions League final against Atlético

2

Sergio Ramos

Defense, 38 years old

Much has been said about the former Real Madrid player during this transfer. There was even speculation that he could return to Sevilla, something that the Seville club did not consider. After also discussing the MLS, it seems that his agreement to go to Saudi Al-Orobah is close.

Mats Hummels, after announcing his departure from Dortmund, could join Mallorca

3

Matts Hummels

Defense, 35 years

After ending his contract with Borussia Dortmund, the German center back is close to signing for Real Sociedad and has also been linked with Mallorca, where he has a home. In the end, none of those operations were closed.

4

Adrien Rabiot

Midfielder, 29 years old

Given his maturity in football, it is strange that the French international did not find a place after leaving Juventus. It is sound for Real Madrid and, especially, for Barça, a club where it has always been an old goal.

Memphis Depay, at Euro 2024

5

Memphis Depay

Forward, 30 years old

Free after the end of his contract with Atlético de Madrid, the former Barça player was close to joining James Rodríguez at Rayo Vallecano, but was prevented by RDT not leaving. Something similar happened to Sevilla. It was suggested as a last-minute option if Ocampos leaves.
