Only half a year had a 36-year-old woman and her partner lived with the four-year-old son in a rented house in the east of Styria. They had previously moved from Vienna to the country to enable the child to get more beautiful. But at the end of October last year, an apparently smoldering conflict escalated and nothing left of the dreamy country idyll.
Depression and relationship problems
After a visit to the Buschens, where a lot of alcohol should also have been, the couple had a fight at home. The 36-year-old Austrian with North Macedonic roots would have suffered under the relationship and after the birth of her son. In the past it is said that she became aggressive and raged in the house when she was drunk. So also that evening.
When her partner could not calm the woman, he went to sleep with the son. In the next room there were also three neighboring children with whom the four -year -old friends are. The 36-year-old is said to have taken a knife to injure himself. She came back from this project and wanted to get a bottle of Schnapps from a load. There, however, she found a box with barbecues and developed an ominous plan.
Burning box next to the bed
“After the dispute, she decided to kill her partner and son,” explains the public prosecutor Stefan Pirker in the trial at the Graz Court of Criminal Court. The woman placed a box with wide flashes on an escape route and then another in the bedroom, right next to the bed where her partner and son slept. Her partner woke up, could bring all the children unharmed and the fire largely extinguished with a fire extinguisher.
The woman behaved aggressively for the police and made confused information, so she was initially admitted to a Graz Nerve Clinic. Only gradually she confessed that she had laid the fire if she only wants to be able to remember in a fragment due to alcohol consumption. According to the psychiatric expert, she was responsible in the law.
Fire to get attention?
