The MotoGP grid for 2025 is still being determined. The team Yamaha announced this Thursday the signing of Miguel Oliveirawhich will join Prima Pramac for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
The Portuguese, who will race the new factory Yamaha YZR-M1, celebrates his sixth year in the MotoGP category and the fourteenth in the paddock. The experienced 29-year-old has many victories in the premier class and below, including 17 race wins and 41 podiums, including a MotoGP Sprint podium at the Sachsenring this year.
“It is a great privilege for me to represent such an emblematic brand in our sport as Yamaha.. Throughout the years of my development and arrival in MotoGP, I have always looked at the blue bikes with great enthusiasm” stated the Portuguese rider.
For his part, the General Director of Yamaha Motor Racing, Lin Jarvis assured that they are happy to “announce a professional and experienced driver like Miguel Oliveira joins the Yamaha line-up for 2025-26, and we welcome him to the Yamaha MotoGP project.
