Bilbao Athletic lost two points against Zamora in extra time. Equality dominated the first half, although the clearest chances came from the visiting side. But the break was reached in the first result. The panorama changed in the second half. A ball release error by the Zamora defense was taken advantage of by Buján to make it 1-0. Irurita added to the distinction by completing, after several rejections, a strategic play. Zamora’s reaction was immediate and Roni, who took advantage of a ball that bounced off the post, and Kike Márquez with a subtle Vaseline goal, leveled the balance. In added time, Ibai Sanz restored the lead to the Cubs, but Clavería was able to beat a hesitant Gastesi, restoring the tie.

Celta Fortuna and Arenteiro were goalless in a match marked by intensity and chances. O Carballiño’s side were brutal in the first half, causing damage from the wings and forcing light blue goalkeeper Marc Vidal to work. Fredi Álvarez’s team also tried, looking to get behind the Ourense defense with Fer López’s excellent presence in attack. Despite continuous attempts by both, neither was able to overcome their conflicting goals. After the break, Celta favored the balance of the game, keeping control of the ball and trying to find a way through Arenteiro’s strong defence. The green team responded on the counterattack and worried the sky goal on several occasions, but received no reward.
