PSG will be closing its first signing for next season. Once announcing the hiring of Luis Campos as a mentor, the French club completely exploded in the market before even choosing a coach to replace Mauricio Pochettino on the bench.
According to Fabrizio Romano, an Italian journalist who specializes in the transfer market, PSG have already reached an agreement with Porto to include Vitinha in its squad for 40 million euros, the figure set in its release clause, after also agreeing- according to the terms of the five-season contract with the player himself.
Vitinha, the priority of his compatriot Luis Campos, is 22 years old and made his debut for the Portuguese national team in March, substituting in the playoff match against North Macedonia that qualified for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
He already played on loan with the Wolves
Trained at the Porto youth academy, he made his first team debut in January 2020 at the age of 19, but at the end of this season he was loaned to Wolves, where the rankings earned him Premier League experience.
Porto recalled him last season and Vitinha participated in winning the double (league and Cup) by participating in 30 games. The promising Portuguese player acts as a midfielder even if he can move his position back to the pivot position or advance it to more offensive functions.
