The stage group of U-20 Women’s World Cup of Colombia ended this Sunday and it defined the round of 16, where there will be matches as the main attraction Spain-Canada and Mexico-United States.
Six American teams, five European teams, three Asian teams and two African teams qualified for the second stage of the youth tournament. The only federation left without representatives is Ocean, whose representatives, Fiji and New Zealandthe tournament ended with no points.
On Wednesday the round of 16 matches will open Spain-Canada and Colombia-South Koreaat the Pascual Guerrero stadium in Cali, and Brazil-Cameroon and Mexico-United Statesat the stadium El Campin from Bogota.
The phase will continue on Thursday with meetings North Korea-Austria and France-Netherlandsin the stadium Atanasio Girardot of Medellinand Germany-Argentina and Japan-Nigeriain the stadium of Roof of Bogotá.
